Five Door ST

Near the end of the Fiesta ST Mk.7 production cycle, a five door version was introduced.

It was announced on 27th September 2016, the prices are listed below.

It was virtually identical to the regular three-door ST, but there were a few differences.

Pricing

As with any production cycle, the list price will gradually rise.

Here are the dates and amounts of those price rises.

Date List Price ST-2 List Price ST-3
Initial Launch 27th September 2016 £ 19,495 £ 20,495
20th January 2017 £ 19,745 £ 20,745
Final price 3rd April 2017 £ 19,800 £ 20,800

From the outside it is hard to initially spot the extra doors because it all blends in so well.

The five-door could only be ordered in ST-2 or ST-3 variants, you could not get an ST-1 with five-doors. Therefore every five-door ST came with part-leather interior.

The Style Pack for the five-door did not include illuminating scuff plates. Instead you got the standard non-illuminating items that were found on all vehicles without the style pack.

You still got red brake callipers and darker coloured alloy wheels in the five-door Style Pack.

The ST-2 and ST-3 variants came with privacy glass as standard in their list of standard fitment items. Therefore meaning all five-door ST's came with tinted windows.

Being now in five-door, this means the front doors themselves were shorter and therefore required smaller door cards than the three-door items.

New Paragraph

The interior showed the main differences, the front seats did not have the lift release handle on the top corner, because they didn't need to be moved to allow access to the rear.

The rear seats, although now having a door to the side, are listed as the same parts fitted to the three-door ST's.

It makes sense as the shape of the rear wheel wells and internal rear quarter panel is the same on all Fiesta's no matter how many doors.

We are yet to confirm this by physical fitting of parts.

The only real optional extra that was specific to the five-door was the choice of rear window function; either electric or manual.

All other options like style pack, keyless entry, boot floors etc were available the same way as the three-door.

The same engine and mechanicals were used, but now the emissions were 141 g/km, which moved it a VED band higher than the three-door.

(three-door is 138 g/km).

VED bands; three-door: E, five-door: F.
